What do you love? Hip-Hop.

Why?: It reflects my spirit. Hip hop’s like a collage of sound nd music and discord and it’s rarely musical and that’s what I am and we live in a messed up world and hip hop reflects that.

What do you think about your name? Gives me an insight into people’s views in the world because of the way they react to my name.

What was the happiest day of your life? When Omar was born. He’s now 13.

When was the last time you cried? 3 months ago, can’t remember exactly why. The thing that most often makes me cry is feeling that I can’t be there for my children when they need me.

What's the one thing you couldn’t live without? Music.

If you could make one wish come true what would it be? To be able to work every day making music.

Favourite Hip Hop Track: Sucker MCs by RUN DMC "It could have been Follow the Leader, but I heard Sucker MCs first."

Favourite Artist: Premier from Gang Starr fame, "I learnt how to scratch and makes beats from listening to him."

Favourite DJ: Q-Bert "It might be a cliche, but he blew my mind when he appeared on the scene."

Best Ever Gig: KRS One @ Medicine Bar, Custard Factory, Birmingham, about three years ago. "They guy has so much energy it's unbelievable. Best performer I've ever seen."
